Hi there,

My name is Annette and I am the director of ItstimeFitness. We focus on training beginners, over 50’s and seniors to achieve their fitness goals and become the best version of themselves, regardless of age or abilities.

I am a holistic instructor and specialize in Functional Exercise for Ageing. I have been a trainer for 30 years and have helped many wonderful clients with varying fitness levels and chronic conditions, and have seen first-hand the benefits of exercise as we age – it’s inspiring!

In the past, I competed in a range of sports including triathlon, aerobics, and half ironman. I am now 59 and continue to train hard and believe age has no limits, but I now train smarter. I compete in Masters Events such as running, kayaking and I have won various State, Australian and Pan Pacific titles for my age group In Indoor Rowing over the last couple of years and have coaching qualifications in this sport.

My goal as an online trainer is help more people achieve better health and independence through the different stages of ageing from the comfort of their home.

Being always involved in the sport and fitness industry, I have tried and tested many fitness fads over the years, but I now focus on teaching evidence based programs that are also fun and creative. I am continually studying and keeping ahead of all changes, new research and recommendations within the health industry for the benefit of my clients.  Much of my career was in the capacity of a Leisure Manager in Resorts and I promoted not only exercise, but wellness, activities and fun!

  • FAI Certified:  Functional Ageing Specialist – For Beginners through to the advanced older athletes
